MCO: What you do? 2
So a little follow up my last blog entry on what you do on MCO, and what I do on MCO. Today’s weather is back on the hot sunny dial with a clear blue sky.
First of all we talk about the trends that went stonks during the MCO, food, food and more food! I see netizen hop on the trend like crazy, eager to show off their skills to the masses. Earlier on MCO Phase 1, Dalgona Coffee was trending and everyone got their hands on the ingredients (probably way higher priority than the essential needs).
Would I try this coffee, maybe. I read somewhere that some people admitted to hospital because the coffee was too strong. What a way to prepare a food/beverage without learning ingredients eh?
I also see a surge of people making kuih panjaram, now this is a trend I am willing… to be the taste expert!
My sister-in-law made these one fine morning, and its gone before you know it. Kuih panjaram is one of my favourite, crunchy crust and soft center, you simply can’t get enough!
Well there is a lot more to this but I’ll cut it short for my next topic, the gaming.
Gaming Time
Before MCO, I spend a lot of my free time at home, commuting to work, work lunchtime with gaming, either on mobile or on my laptop.
MCO Phase 1 to 3 see me spending even more time on gaming, my current fav mobile game are Azur Lane, Honkai Impact 3, Fate Grand Order, Sky: Children of the Light and Arknights.
Most of the mobile games in the market is either F2P (free to play) with ads or F2P with premium currency. I play these games because of their nice artworks, good gameplay mechanics to keep me entertained/engaged during downtime/free time, and storyline also plays a big role on it. This is where I learned many terms of mobile gaming, one being The Gacha Salt!
While on my laptop, the only game I actively played is Fallout 4. I’ve beaten the game a few time already in the course of me having the laptop, but the modding community is still very much active to churn out new contents for me to play and test with. Vanilla Fallout 4, event with the DLC is pretty eh, unfortunately. The saving grace was the upgraded gun-play and the modding community.
Well I think thats about it on stuff people/I do during the MCO period, what about you? Are you the creative type or the enterprising type? Maybe I should think about that enterprising part on my next post.
Legendary innovators like Franklin, Snow, and Darwin all possess some common intellectual qualities—a certain quickness of mind, unbounded curiosity—but they also share one other defining attribute. They have a lot of hobbies. ~ Steven Johnson, Where Good Ideas Come from: The Natural History of Innovation
