Four Season Toys Fair 2015
Date: 27th February – 1st March 2015, 10AM to 8PM

Added Four Season Toy Fair in the list here because it will showcase some hobby collections, I might want to check out what these collections are. The event also work together with HobbyCon for cosplayer appearance and cosplay competitions. The event is organized by Eleventh Avenue Marketing.
Cosplay Competition in Collaboration with WA Venue & Otafuse
Date: 23 August 2015, starting 2:30PM (start of competition)
Venue: WA-Venue (in front of Shiki Japan Store)
In conjunction with WA-Venue Japanese Event this August, WA-Venue is collaborating with Otafuse for a Cosplay Competition. Cosplayers can a chance to win Special Course for 2 person at SAKAGURA Japanese Restaurant, Beauty & Skincare producst from Creare Hokkaido, Guardaroba KK vouchers and OTAFUSE 2015 2-days passes and goodies. 1st Roadshow X Cosplay 2015
Date: 30th & 31th August 2015, Starting 10AM

I learned about this new event on Facebook. This 2 day event is organized by Aragaya Automobil Sdn Bhd, with the theme Synchronise. The Roadshow a.k.a automobile showcase is the main focus of the event, as the Cosplay related activities are happening on Day 1 only.
Here are some of the activities listed for the Cosplay portion of the event;

2nd HobbyFusion 2015
Date & Time: 30th August 2015, 10AM to 8PM
Venue: Indah Jaya Recreational Club, Bandar Indah, Jalan Lintas Selatan, 90000 Sandakan.

This became the first ever Hobby + ACG event organized in Sandakan district last year, and the date for 2015 have been confirmed. Expect showcase of collection, ranging from Gunpla, military models, action figures, nendoroid and dolls. The 5th Otafuse 2015
Date & Time: 19th – 20th September 2015, 10AM to 9PM
Venue: 6th Floor Exhibition Hall, Suria Sabah, Kota Kinabalu
Theme: Magical, also celebrates 5th Anniversary of Otafuse

OtaFuse is in its 5th year now! This 2 Days event focuses on Anime, Games, Comic & Cosplay and Japan culture in general. The venue this year will be at Suria Sabah!
Among highlights are cosplay competitions, TCG (Trading Card Game) activities, merchandise & artworks for sale and much more. The guest cosplayer for this year will be Ying Tze and Angie!
*Update: I’ve bought the Magical Pack (Tickets for 2 days and other merchandises) already. So I’m looking forward for the event. 🙂
9th HobbyCon 2015
Date: 12 – 13 December 2015
Venue: Badminton Hall, Likas Sports Complex, Kota Kinabalu
Theme: Worlds Collide

Most anticipated year end ACG + Hobby convention in Borneo! This event that spans for 2 Days gathers not only cosplayers from Sabah and Sarawak, but also cosplayers from Brunei and West Malaysia. Among the highlights of the event are All Stars March, special guests (like cosplayer Team Tokusatsu Malaysia, Onnies and Yugana last year), table top gaming, arcade & PS4 gaming, big showcase of ACG related merchandise and not forgetting the Fuwa Fuwa Maid Cafe.

OtaFuse and HobbyCon is a must go event for me. I will try to make it for Hobby Fusion and MYACon (if confirmed to happen) too.
