Awww MAN!.. Broken monitor
Yep… that sums up my frustration coupled with rage of knowing my PC monitor was broken 2 weeks ago. With no monitor, I can’t use my PC and also the mobile broadband (DiGi) service I have subscribed. In the end, my lil’ bro use my mobile broadband and I, for a limited time, get to borrow his PC LCD monitor to use it on my PC and go online as usual.
So what do I do at that time when I don’t have any monitor? I subscribed DiGi mobile internet which cost me RM15/week. Now thats a handful, but since I didn’t used up my prepaid credit last month (RM50+), I just go on and subscribed it.
From there I became an active Twitterer, by just using mobile Twitter powered by Opera Mini app, my Sony Ericsson C510 phone becahe a small tweet device. Sure there are limitations to use twitter in this way, but I still enjoy it none the less.
Newsfeed in Twitter is more interesting and informational that some insecure girl rants on her Facebook wall. Besides, Facebook newsfeed is currently plagued with this “rahsia bulan kelahiran” and other tagged craps, made by people who desperately want to suck out USD0.03 cents in every victim’s click. Its a useless appplication, if you get tagged, un-tag your name and block the app, end of story.
I’m not sure when I can replace my monitor, it may take a while, maybe months. I can enjoy other things in the meantime, do the things I like before I ever had a PC in my little room. I can’t blog so frequently, but I will never neglect my blog, oh no no no~
In the timeline there will be this nice space for me to find ideas, find resources, write and post it on my blog; I am very positive of it. 😉
Before I end this personal post of mine, I present to you… The Blitz (How I Met Your Mother fans will recognize this)
Computers make it easier to do a lot of things, but most of the things they make it easier to do don’t need to be done. ~ Andy Rooney
