Pew! Pew! Pew!

Can’t believe that it has been over 1 year since I played in a paintball match. Last time I played it was B2.0 networking activity, a paintball match at Area 21 Paintball Arena, Donggongon. To tell you the truth, beneath all the excitement is pure nervousness and fear of being shot constantly. My head was clouded with all the bad possibilities of playing paintball game.

Oh, before that we have been given a short but strict briefing about the paintball match itself. Don’t go fooling around when you handle the marker (one which you use to shoot paintball), it will still cause serious injuries if you are not careful. Pay attention when the referee gives his briefings for the match.

And the game begins!

First match, I was totally nervous, shooting pellets like there’s no tomorrow. I was running here and there to avoid being shot, my hands were cold, heart is beating like the marching war drum. before I can move forward, I was shot a few times on my upper body. As the referee ordered, I retreated to the safe bunker until the game time finished… we lost.

Before the next match, we group up to strategize our moves to battle, but it didn’t worked out very well. Inside the battle arena, we all scramble like crazy and totally forgotten about our strategy, we just shoot like crazy. Adrenaline rush kicks in, it was such a rush that I go head to head point blank shoot with fellow blogger Charlton, who was one the other team we have to fight.That was such a funny experience.

At the end, I’m tired of running. The last match we just agreed to ourselves that we go out there and have fun shooting. So that time, instead of running around, I just walk and shoot. I don’t clearly remember what rank our team was, but all the shooting and running really was fun, enjoyable and awesome. I got bruised, but I don’t care much about it, the paintball match was a great idea for us to know each other well, forging friendship and good times.
